Laurie Putnam is the Principal at Kennedy Community School. She has been with District 742 since 2009. Ms. Putnam attended Dartmouth College where she received a Bachelor of Arts in History. She obtained her Master's in Education at the University of Maine with an emphasis in Counselor Education. Ms. Putnam then attended Hamline University where she received her Administrative Licensure.
Ms. Putnam is looking forward to working with students, families and staff at Kennedy to create a kind and caring community.
Anna Willhite has been with District 742 since 2008. She has been a classroom Language Arts teacher, Instructional Leader, Administrative Intern, and served on various district leadership committees. Ms. Willhite received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of St. Benedict. She has a passion for literacy success for all students and received her Reading Certificate and Masters in Literacy Education from St. Mary’s University. Ms. Willhite also completed her Administrative Licensure through St. Mary’s University.
Ms. Willhite is excited to join the Kennedy team. She looks forward to using her knowledge in instruction, curriculum, data, assessment, and PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) to ensure that all students are receiving the tools, skills, and knowledge they need in order to be successful in their futures. Ms. Willhite is eager to support the District Mission and serve Kennedy families, staff, students and the community.
Ms. Willhite loves spending time with her three children, husband, and black lab, reading and relaxing at the lake.
